Newcastle’s first fixture following the break is at home to Brighton & Hove Albion on October 19, however Wilson’s availability is uncertain at this time.
Newcastle United’s Callum Wilson will be out of action for at least another month.
Wilson missed all of preseason due to a back injury and has since been declared out for Newcastle’s first nine games of the 2024-25 season. The striker isn’t scheduled to return to training until the next international break in October.
“Callum won’t make the game, we’re looking at the next international break to have him back in full training ready for the games following,” Howe said ahead of Saturday’s trip to Fulham.
