Adam Idah admits he and his Celtic colleagues showed Falkirk disrespect ahead of today’s Scottish League Cup quarter-final.
The striker scored twice in a minute to turn the cup tie around in the second half.
The Bairns seized a surprise 2-1 lead at halftime, with the Championship outfit putting up a performance to be proud of, providing stiffer opposition than Champions League side Slovan Bratislava.
Brendan Rodgers handled his squad and made many changes to his starting XI for the game, including replacing Kyogo with Idah.
But after throwing on the likes of Greg Taylor and Nicolas Kuhn with 30 minutes to go, the Scottish Premiership champions romped to a 5-2 win.

“It was a tough game,” the 23-year-old said. “We came out in the first half and it was probably the worst start we’ve made this season.
“They started off great and kind of blew us away a bit.
“After finishing the last game on such a high, it’s always difficult to come play in these games. Fair play to them because they were excellent.
“At half-time we said to ourselves that this is what the best teams do, they show a comeback. To be fair to the boys, we did.
“It was a whole new squad, we’ve not played together, which is tough.
“It was probably a small bit of attitude going into the game. We had a Champions League game the other day, and it was a great win.
“It was probably a lack of respect for them if I’m honest. We probably didn’t think they were going to be as good as they were.”
There was a hush around the stadium as VAR checked Celtic’s second equaliser.
Idah looked to be just in line with the ball as it was pulled back for him to tap into an empty net.
He reflected: “I was quite confident that I was onside. I had that annoying feeling when you don’t know if it’s in or not.
“Thank god it was. I then got the second which got us off to a good start. We’re happy with that and we’re into the next round.”
