Gabby Thomas, the American sprint queen, waited three months before exacting retribution on a hater who wished her failure at the Paris Olympics, much to the joy of her admirers.
They say retribution is best served cold, and American sprint queen Gabby Thomas delivered exactly that to a fan who wished her bad luck at the Paris 2024 Olympics.
Thomas became the first female American sprinter to win three gold medals at the Olympics since Allyson Felix in 2012, as she won the 200m title before helping Team USA win gold in the 4x100m and 4x400m relays.
While she was basking in the glory of her Olympics heroics, it has now emerged that it was also a major statement towards a content creator who had written her off way before the Olympics took place.
This was even before Team USA was chosen for the Olympics, with Thomas going on to floor her competitors to secure her spot in the 200m at the trials before being placed in the relay teams.
After conquering Paris in August, Thomas took three months to respond to the hater, and she did so in the greatest way she knew how.

“I meant to come back to this I almost forgot,” Thomas wrote back to the tweet, accompanying her comment with a laugh emoji and others signaling three gold medals.
“Yessssss,” posted Ohanian as another fan said: “Love it. Best post I’ve seen in a while.”
“Is she jealous of your talent … your success … your beauty? I’m thinking all of the above,” wondered another fan.
“That brother is a professional hater; he probably couldn’t even beat @ishowspeedsui in a race.”
Thomas won the 200m gold in 21.83 seconds, her first Olympic title, ahead of St Lucia’s Julien Alfred (22.08) and American Brittany Brown (22.20), before teaming up with Melissa Jefferson, Twanisha Terry, and Sha’Carri Richardson to win the 4x100m relay in a season-best 41.78 seconds.
She completed her hat-trick of gold medals by partnering Shamier Little, Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone, and Alexis Holmes to win the 4x400m relay gold for Team USA in 3:15.27, an American record.
