With these results, Georgia has officially clinched their spot in the SEC Championship game. They will face the winner of next week’s game between Texas and Texas A&M.
A rematch with Texas might be intimidating, but facing the Aggies would be a more favorable matchup for Georgia. Winning the SEC Championship game would not only earn Georgia a top-four seed in the College Football Playoff but also a first-round bye.
