Helaman Casuga, a four-star quarterback from Corner Canyon High School in Draper, Utah, has committed to play for the Texas A&M Aggies. Casuga, who is ranked as the No. 76 player in the nation and the No. 6 quarterback by (link unavailable), chose Texas A&M over USC and Washington.
As a sophomore, Casuga had an impressive season, completing 321 of 495 passes for 4,415 yards, 34 touchdowns, and 14 interceptions. He also added 52 rushes for 279 yards and two rushing scores. In the 2022 season, he completed 151 of 214 passes for 2,330 yards, 26 touchdowns, and seven picks.
This season, Casuga has continued to play at an elite level, completing 92 of 142 passes for 1,617 yards and 18 touchdowns in six games. He is considered one of the top quarterback prospects in the class of 2025.
Casuga’s commitment to Texas A&M is a significant addition to the Aggies’ recruiting class. He will join five-star quarterback commit Husan Longstreet in College Station, giving the Aggies a talented duo at the quarterback position. Casuga’s ability to make an impact early and often will be crucial for the Aggies’ success in the future.
