As we celebrate Thanksgiving today, we want to take a moment to express our heartfelt gratitude to each and every one of you, our loyal and passionate Bright Side community. Your unwavering support through the ups and downs of being a Phoenix Suns fan means the world to us.
We know it’s not always easy being a Suns fan. With a franchise history marked by incredible winning streaks, yet no championship titles to show for it, it can be frustrating at times. The recent past has been no exception, with a decade-plus playoff drought followed by a thrilling NBA Finals run that ultimately ended in heartbreak. And who can forget last season’s record-breaking 64-win season, only to be swept by Luka Dončić and the Dallas Mavericks in the playoffs?
Despite these setbacks, our community remains one of the most dedicated and enthusiastic in the league. And for that, we are truly thankful. With Devin Booker’s leadership, Kevin Durant’s determination, and the fresh energy brought by rookies Ryan Dunn and Oso Ighodaro, there’s a lot to be excited about this season.
So as we gather with friends and family today, let’s take a moment to appreciate the little things that make being a Suns fan so special. From the thrill of a game-winning shot to the camaraderie of cheering on our team together, there’s a lot to be grateful for.
