The Oregon Ducks have secured a commitment from 2026 four-star defensive lineman Bott Mulitalo. The highly touted prospect chose Oregon over a slew of top programs, including Washington, USC, Tennessee, and BYU.
Mulitalo, a product of Lone Peak High School in American Fork, Utah, cited the Ducks’ coaching staff and culture as key factors in his decision. “Coach Tony Tuioti and coach Tosh Lupoi are great, and the culture there just really stands out to me,” he told 247Sports’ Blair Angulo. Mulitalo also highlighted the program’s success in developing top talent from Utah.
The 6-4, 275-pound defensive lineman is a consensus top-rated recruit in the 2026 class. According to 247Sports, he is the No. 2-rated defensive lineman and the No. 2 overall player in the state of Utah. Mulitalo’s impressive high school career statistics include 50 total tackles (15 tackles for loss) and 9.5 sacks over the 2022 and ’23 seasons.
