On March 9th, 2024, Florida Gators Co-Offensive Coordinator and Tight Ends Coach, Russ Callaway, was at the forefront of the team’s second practice of the spring at the Indoor Practice Facility in Gainesville, Florida. As part of his role, Callaway worked diligently with the tight ends, a position group crucial to Florida’s offensive scheme, focusing on developing both their blocking and receiving abilities.
Known for his ability to coach and develop tight ends into versatile threats, Callaway emphasized the importance of improving route running, hands, and understanding defensive schemes.
