Ja’Marr Chase has established himself as one of the best wide receivers in the league today. The fact that he has been selected a Pro Bowler in all three of his seasons with the Cincinnati Bengals, and is on his way to a fourth in 2025, is a clear indication of this.
Chase is not only one of the greatest in the business, but he is also a genuine fan favorite. In fact, the 24-year-old was trending online on Monday night for his actions during their primetime game against the Dallas Cowboys.
After scoring a touchdown in the first quarter of the game, Chase busted out “The Griddy” dance celebration. This is far from the first time the fans have seen this celebration from the former LSU superstar, but apparently, this one was extra special.
As it turns out, Chase dedicated his touchdown to Brixton Wood, a young Bengals fan who is battling Leukemia for the second time.
The fans on social media were quick to heap praise on the Cincinnati wideout as soon as they heard about the touching story behind his “Griddy” celebration against the Cowboys.
