During the Under Armour All-America Game’s media day, Russell shared that Colorado, LSU, and Texas made aggressive attempts to sway him from his initial commitment to Alabama. “That meant a lot to me,” Russell said. “Alabama came to one of my worst practices as a quarterback. I was off that day… and saw something in me.”
