Georgia Bulldogs quarterback Carson Beck has declared for the 2025 NFL Draft following a season-ending elbow injury. Beck, a fifth-year senior, sustained a right elbow injury during the SEC Championship Game against Texas on December 7, 2024. Subsequently, he underwent surgery to repair the ulnar collateral ligament in his throwing arm, performed by Dr. Neal ElAttrache in Los Angeles. The procedure is expected to sideline him until spring 2025.
Throughout the 2024 season, Beck led the Southeastern Conference (SEC) with 28 touchdown passes and ranked third with 3,485 passing yards. However, he also led the conference in interceptions, totaling 12 for the season. His performance was marked by a midseason stretch where he threw eight interceptions over three games, leading to criticism from analysts.

Stockton took over for Beck in the second half of the SEC Championship Game, completing 12 of 16 passes for 71 yards with one interception. His performance will be pivotal as Georgia aims for another national championship.
