Kim Caldwell’s coaching career is a testament to her passion and commitment to the sport. Her journey began at Glenville State, where she led the Pioneers to unprecedented success. During her seven-year tenure, the team won six regular season conference championships, four conference tournament championships, and made six NCAA Division II Tournament appearances. The crowning jewel of her time at Glenville State was the 2022 NCAA Division II National Championship.
A New Chapter at Marshall
Caldwell’s success at Glenville State paved the way for her next challenge: becoming the head coach at Marshall. In her inaugural season, she made a lasting impact, earning the Sun Belt Conference Coach of the Year award and the Maggie Dixon Award as the top Division I rookie head coach in 2024.
