Bowling for Soup Announces 2026 Comeback Tour and New Album, “Back to the Garage”

Pop punk stalwarts Bowling for Soup have officially confirmed their return to the road with a new album and a full-scale tour slated for 2026. The Texas-based quartet, best known for hits like “1985,” “High School Never Ends,” and “Girl All the Bad Guys Want,” announced the news via a cheeky video posted to their social media channels early Monday morning.
The new album, titled Back to the Garage, is expected to release in June 2026 and is being described by frontman Jaret Reddick as “a love letter to our roots and a celebration of everything ridiculous, fun, and heartfelt about growing up with punk rock in your veins.” The band has been quietly recording the album over the past year, blending their signature humor-driven lyrics with what they describe as a “grittier garage-band vibe.”
“This isn’t us trying to reinvent the wheel,” said Reddick in a recent interview. “It’s more like us hopping back in the van, remembering why we started playing music in the first place, and turning the volume all the way up.”
The Back to the Garage Tour will kick off in the spring of 2026 with shows across the U.S., followed by a UK leg in the summer.
