Green Day Announces 2026 World Tour and New Album, “Radio Revenge,” Set for Spring Release

Punk rock titans Green Day have officially announced their return to the global stage with a massive 2026 world tour and a brand-new studio album titled Radio Revenge, scheduled for release in April 2026. The news broke early Monday morning via a cryptic teaser video posted across the band’s social media accounts, sparking immediate buzz and speculation among fans.
The upcoming tour, dubbed the “Radio Revenge World Tour,” will kick off in early March 2026 in Tokyo, Japan, and make stops across North America, Europe, South America, and Australia. Cities confirmed so far include Los Angeles, New York, London, Berlin, São Paulo, and Sydney, with more dates expected to be added.
In a statement released by Reprise Records, Green Day frontman Billie Joe Armstrong shared his excitement:
“We’ve been working on this album for over a year, and it feels like the right moment to bring it to the world. ‘Radio Revenge’ is loud, raw, and probably the most fun we’ve had making music in a long time.”
According to insiders, the album will blend the band’s classic punk energy with fresh themes reflecting today’s cultural climate. Guitarist Mike Dirnt hinted that fans can expect “fast riffs, big hooks, and zero apologies,” while drummer Tré Cool teased that the live shows will feature “the most explosive setlist we’ve ever played.”
Radio Revenge will be Green Day’s first full-length studio album since 2020’s Father of All… and marks their 15th studio release. Fans can expect the lead single and music video to drop in late January 2026, with pre-orders for the album launching the same day.
Tickets for the Radio Revenge World Tour go on sale beginning Friday, June 7, 2025, via Ticketmaster and select global partners. A special fan presale will open two days earlier, exclusively for members of the Green Day Idiot Nation fan club.
