Lexi McDaniel is widely regarded as one of the top prospects in the 2025 recruiting class. Competing for Aces Fastpitch 18U, McDaniel posted impressive statistics during the summer season, batting .491 with 115 hits, 24 home runs, 19 doubles, six triples, and 97 RBIs. Her performance earned her the title of Offensive Player of the Year in the Aces Fastpitch organization, and she became the club’s all-time leader in hits, home runs, RBIs, and runs scored .
In addition to her softball prowess, McDaniel excels in basketball, earning multiple district titles and individual accolades. She is also a dedicated student, maintaining a high GPA and actively participating in community service through organizations like the Salvation Army and Soles for Christ .
Coach Gasso’s Assessment
Oklahoma head coach Patty Gasso expressed high praise for McDaniel’s abilities, stating, “Lexi is a versatile athlete who I’ve seen play all infield positions. She also has an elite bat and has increased her power in the last year. I consider her one of the most powerful hitters in the 2025 class. She can change a game with one swing and we are looking forward to having her play a large role in our offensive attack.
